Paris Aéroport
In 2025, Astérix sets off on a new journey. And what better place than an airport — the very symbol of modern travel — to reveal the destination of his next adventure?
In March, Astérix and Obélix announced to the press and the general public at Paris-Orly Airport that Lusitania would be the setting for their upcoming story.
This exceptional moment continued with the album’s release, celebrated through a grand Gallic banquet held at the airport, renamed “Paris-Orlyx” for the occasion. Rungis — transformed into “Rungix” — provided the feast, while the inimitable Philippe Katerine took on the role of the bard, delighting guests and local residents alike.
A unique illustration, specially created by the authors for the event, completed this one-of-a-kind celebration.
The occasion also provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate Groupe ADP’s 80th anniversary.
This operation was carried out in partnership with the agencies Pierre Laporte Communication and OVAL.
